Pescados Airoa S.L., dedicated to the marketing of fresh fish and fishery products, in its desire to remain at the forefront of its sector, has decided to implement a new Quality and Food Safety Management System in accordance with the UNE-EN ISO 2200:2018 standard, focused on satisfying customer needs, the quality and safety of our products and continuous improvement.

With the drafting of this Food Safety Policy, PESCADOS AIROA aims to obtain verification of the quality and safety levels of all the products marketed through the implementation in the company of a Food Safety Management System based on the UNE-EN ISO 22000:2018 standard. This policy lays the foundations for our objectives.

Pescados Airoa aims to improve the management of its processes with the intention of providing our customers with maximum confidence in our products, ensuring quality and safety at all times and thus meeting their needs and concerns.

Our management system is based on the following principles:

  • To develop a Food Safety Management System with defined objectives and targets, promoting food safety at all times, ensuring its validity, adequacy and effectiveness through regular reviews.

  • Comply with applicable food safety requirements, including applicable legislation, regulations and voluntary agreements with our customers applicable to activities, products and services.

  • Incorporate our workers to the fulfilment of the established objectives and goals, through continuous training to guarantee the necessary competences in issues related to the safety of our products.

  • Promote appropriate and economically viable processes and technologies to encourage actions that promote the prevention of situations that may affect the safety of the product.

  • Establish and promote the development of a company culture that involves all its members in the continuous improvement of quality and food safety.

  • Facilitate internal and external communication, in order to have more direct contact with our clients and other interested parties.

Food safety requires the participation and collaboration of everyone, so this policy is disseminated to all company personnel and collaborators for their knowledge and understanding, as the effective application of these principles requires the support of all departments.
